Some brands almost create themselves
Stenette was one of those brands
This brand was about writing, all types of writing, with an emphasis on the value of words.
We worked to develop a brand name that would be simple, memorable, and closely associated with writing. After brainstorming about writing concepts and implements, we settled on the word “Stenette.” Reminiscent of the stenographer and a stenographer’s note pad, the word Stenette brings to mind the process of writing while providing a new, modern twist and an easy to remember name.
We chose a very simple color palette of navy and grey for the brand in order to focus on the clean writing services that would be provided. The font on the website is reminiscent of a clean typewriter text from days gone by, and the website design was focused on highlighting the menu of services.
We designed a logo for Stenette to reinforce the writing theme. The repetition of “t”s and “e’s in the name, lent themselves to a sleek shape, and with the addition of a simple triangle, a pencil-shaped logo was born.
